On the Road to Emmaus is a formation manual to revisit the Catholic Faith in the spirit of Dialogue and Peace on the occasion of 500th Anniversary of the Christian faith in the Philippines.
Catholics in the Philippines are called to witness the mission of love, hope and reconciliation in the midst of peoples of different cultures and religions, especially in Mindanao.
The Emmaus Family seeks to internalize this mission and shares its formation program with other Catholics starting from the beautiful story of the two disciples on the road to Emmaus as it is presented in the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 24.
This encounter with Jesus on the road to Emmaus challenges us to meet Jesus on our own “ Road to Emmaus” and ask the questions about our faith that we need to clarify with the hope that many Catholics will feel the responsibility to guide others in their own “Road to Emmaus.”
